Ghost leaf
The All Saints' vacation means Halloween this year! And what better way to celebrate than with a decoration made by the little hands of your little ones?
How about turning autumn leaves into a cute little ghost? You'll need white paint and a black marker. You can then tie them together and hang them on the wall.
Toilet Paper Roll Bat
This toilet paper roll bat is a fun, easy and simple Halloween activity for kids! Plus, it's a fun way to recycle. You'll need:
- Colored card stock
- Toilet paper roll
- Scissors
- Glue
First, cut the roll in half and roll up the two mini rolls of black card and glue them together.
Using another color of card, draw the wings, teeth and mouth, then cut and glue them onto the bat. If you don't have any, you can draw them yourself!
Autumn tree
How about an autumn tree? You'll need
- a palette of water-based paints
- tree leaves (collected during your pleasant autumn walks)

And now let your little ones let their imaginations run wild... The aim is to paint the leaves, turn them over on our tree and leave imprints on the tree to make it grow!

Chestnut Snails
Keep your kids amused with these funny little snails.
Get chestnuts and modeling clay. Roll out the clay. Slit one end with the wooden stick. Form tentacles with your fingers. Place the chestnut on top and press lightly to keep it firm. Use a toothpick to form the eyes and mouth. And you're done!
Pine Cone Hedgehog
For this D.I.Y. you'll need:
- pine cones
- felt scraps
- glue
- acrylic paint
- sticker eyes or black marker
Paint your pine cones and leave to dry for around 1 hour. Cut out the hedgehog's face and ears with the felt, then glue them to the thinnest part of the pine cone.
Add or draw the little eyes and you're done!
